Santa’s Top Secret Revealed!

Did you ever wonder just how Santa does it?  I mean, how does he find the energy to take all the Christmas gift requests, take all the pictures with smiling babies, organize all the elves to make all the toys, and finally deliver all the gifts to millions of children throughout the world?  Heck, we sometimes struggle to make it through a 15 minute workout!  So what is Santa’s secret?  We decided to find out!

We formed a team of specially trained ninjas to pull off a Top Secret mission to sneak into the North Pole and find out Santa’s Secret.  The mission was dangerous, but we succeeded!  Using high-tech, hidden cameras, we were able to capture this picture revealing Santa’s secret to Radiant Vitality!

WOW!!! Santa gets adjusted!!!  We discovered that he has for years, and plans to continue receiving regular Chiropractic adjustments to keep him happy and healthy for years to come.  This is why he has so much energy to love all the children and deliver happiness year after year!

Santa was overheard saying, “HO!  HO!  HO!  Everyone should have their spine and nervous system checked by a Chiropractor so they too can experience the optimal health I enjoy!”

See You In January…NO!!!

So if you haven’t noticed, there has been a little theme to the past couple of posts.  That theme is to continue to make your health a priority while we close out the year.  If you ignore your health it will go away!  Your health is just like other areas of your life.  Think about it…what if you said to your husband or wife, “OK honey, see you in January!”  Do you think your relationship might suffer?  Absolutely!  It’s the same with your health!  You can’t just say, “OK health, we’re gonna take a little break here.  See you in January!”  You will fall back.  You will start the new year behind the 8 ball!  Be proactive about your health this year!  You’ve done great so far!  Stay strong, you only have a few more weeks to go!  Stick to your game plan!  Eat well, get some exercise, relax, limit your toxins, and continue to get your spine checked on regular basis!

Finish The Year Strong!!!

(Body scan of 250 lb woman and 120 lb woman. If this isn’t motivation to work out, I don’t know what is! I’m NOT implying that a women needs to weigh 120 lbs…that’s no where near realistic for some people…but it is about health and longevity and the damage obesity causes. Look at the size of the intestines and stomach; how the knee joints rub together; the enlarged heart; and the fat pockets near the brain. Not good.)
As I have stated in previous posts, this time of the year is the most dangerous period of time for people to put their health on the back burner!  Unfortunately, they do not make their health a priority mentally, physically, financially, nutritionally, and emotionally, but rather an “if I get around to it” type of thing.  Please do not make this mistake!
I have noticed in my personal life and in the lives of 100s of practice members, that not making health a priority in the last couple months of the year set you up for a health struggle come the first of the year!  Next comes the big New Year’s resolution, which usually last until about Valentine’s Day.  Then comes the crash.  Followed by a Yo-Yo health plan the remainder of the year.
My former hockey coach and mentor used to always say, “The best way to get in shape (or be healthy) is to never get out of shape (or be unhealthy)!”  Isn’t that the truth?!  Well, that is the exact same concept that needs to be applied to your nutrition, exercise, mental attitude, and Chiropractic care.
I’ve noticed that the people who “plan the work and work the plan” always get the best results with their health and their LIFE!

Thanks…..Giving!

Well, it’s that time of year again…Thanksgiving!  A wonderful time to spend with friends and family.  Not to mention the food and football! 😉  I hope you do not forget the purpose of Thanksgiving however….and that is Thanks….Giving or Giving….Thanks.  We ALL have MANY things to be thankful for.  I also hope you do not limit your thankfulness to one day per year.  Why not make Thanksgiving an everyday celebration?!  Be thankful for everything you have EVERYDAY, not just one Thursday in November!  Celebrate your “Attitude of Gratitude” daily!

I do feel that one of the most overlooked things to be thankful for is the amazing Power that God put in your body to heal, function, and live life at 100%!  Think about it for a minute.  When was the last time you were thankful for your body being able to take the apple you just ate and use it to create new liver, kidney, or heart cells?  When was the last time you were thankful for being able to breath deeply, digest meals, pump blood throughout your body, heal a cut without even having to think about it.  That’s Innate Intelligence!  That’s that inborn wisdom that God gave you.  Without it, you have nothing!  You wouldn’t be able to be the person you are, do the things you love, and live the life of your dreams!

So, while you are being thankful for all the wonderful things and people you have in your life, please say a big thank you for the amazing Power you have within you!

Life Balance = Abundance!

“Your LIFE is a balancing act between LIFE and Stress.  When more Life is expressing through your body, you feel great, you’re happy, and you’re living the way you want to live.  When more Stress is expressing through your body, you feel aches, you may be depressed, and the expression of your Life is limited.”

“Life isn’t just a straight line across the graph of time.  There’s ups and downs.  It’s a balancing act.”

“Removing interference from your body can never cause you to express less Life.  There has to be another reason.”

“When the scales of Life tip in favor of Stress, the weakest parts of your body will manifest the effects of Stress.  One of the Principles of Life (and in Chiropractic) is that of Limitation of Matter.  That is, all tissues in your body have limitations and when these limitations are exceeded, you have weakness.  Now, do you think your Stress will manifest first in the strong areas of your body, or the weak areas of your body?”

“That’s right.  You’re expressing less Life in the weak areas of your body because the Stress has tipped the scales in its favor.

When the scales of Life tip in favor of Stress, it’s a sure sign you need to up the “inside-out approach”  in order to return Balance to your LIFE.  When this happens, you will experience true abundance in your health and your life!

Halloween and Your Health?!

For all of the teachers out there (or parents, or if you work with children), pay attention this week to see if there is an increased number of sick days in your classrooms.

I’m willing to bet you’ll see an increase.  Why is this?

Well, sugar has been shown to suppress the immune system for up to 4 hours.  So, with all the Halloween candy consumed the past few days, there are a lot of children’s immune systems compromised out there!  The bugs that their immune systems would normally be able to fight off, are now overtaking the body.  Like I wrote about last week, when the environment is just right, sickness can emerge.  Unfortunately, most parents will run to the drug store for medications.  Let me ask you this….was this sickness caused by a lack of medication, cough syrup, or flu remedies?  NOPE!  Start thinking differently about your health and always, always, always ask WHY.  This will usually lead you to the CAUSE of a problem.

Let me know if you too notice an increase in childhood sickness this week.

It’s OK To Get Sick!

Hi everybody!  I hope you’re having a great week!  Did you ever think of getting “sick” as beneficial?  Probably not, since I’ll be the first to admit that it is not much fun being “sick.”  However, getting “sick” can be incredibly beneficial!

#1)  It’s your body’s natural response to fight off a bug or stress in your environment.  Your body wants you to be healthy!  Health is your default.  Everything your body does is for your own good, even if it might not feel the greatest.  It’s preventing more serious problems to your body…if you let it do its thing!

2)  Getting “sick” is like putting money in the bank or working out.  There is compounding interest.  Every time you get a cold, a flu, the sniffles, a cough and you LET your body and immune system fight it off, you just built that immune system stronger.   Kinda like every time you put money in a savings account or workout on regular basis.  The more you do it , the more it works for you.  Each time building on the last time.  Back to your immune system…if you immediately run to the drug store for every symptom, you have just passed up an amazing opportunity to strengthen your immune system!

The more you strengthen your immune system, the less frequently you will get sick.  And if you do get sick, it might be for a day or two instead of the entire week like it used to be for you.

Guess what controls your immune system?  Your nervous system!  A healthy nervous system equals a healthy immune system.  Regular Chiropractic adjustments strengthen your nervous system which strengthens your immune system.  Dr. Ronald Pero, MD did research that showed that people who were under regular Chiropractic care had a 200% increase in the strength of their immune systems compared with those who were not under regular Chiropractic care.

Want to avoid the flu or colds this fall and winter?  Want to avoid dangerous medications or flu vaccines?  Get adjusted on a regular basis, eat healthy, get some exercise, get rest, try to get some sunlight and watch what happens!
